If you are interested in writing a review for The Goose please email us with a brief description of your background, research interests and your preferred contact address. Also, if you have a work -- book, film, or art exhibit -- that you think other ALECC members would be interested in hearing about, please let us know. The Goose publishes reviews of works created by Canadians or about Canada. Our goal is both to complement the reviews in the journal ISLE (Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and the Environment), and to allow works by Canadians and about Canada to migrate across wider terrain.
In addition, The Goose invites works of creative non-fiction or travelogues pertaining to the environment, nature, or bioregion (max. 2000 words). We also accept poetry and short creative fiction that reflect the interests of ALECC.
We look forward to hearing from you!
